Maitri House is an independent Buddhist Centre operated by Venerable Tenzin Drolkar, a Buddhist nun ordained by His Holiness Dalai Lama in the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

 

Maitri House provides Buddhist teachings, meditation instruction and holistic counselling both in person and on-line.

Maitrī is a Sanskrit word meaning benevolence,

loving-kindness, and the practice of unconditional friendliness toward all sentient beings.
